• Administer in the best interest of the beneficiaries
Two of our Trustee members are David Pritchard & Eleanor Jones. They have taken some time to write a short paragraph explaining themselves and their background.

Dave PritchardDavid Pritchard was born in Church Street, Llantwit Major. David went to school in Llantwit Major and Cowbridge, and he is now married with two grown up children.
David is the founder and first life member of Llantwit Major Lifeguards. He received a Royal Humane Society Award for the rescue of four people.
David worked as a civil servant for two major airlines for a short time and eventually joined the South Wales Police and completed his service in various locations and different departments. During this service David was commended thirteen times.
David is now enjoying retired life and leading "mucha" courses. David's other interests include steam trains, model railways, gardening, reading and music.

Eleanor JonesMy name is Eleanor Jones. I am employed by the National Museum Wales in Cardiff as an Administrative Assistant, where I have worked for the past twenty two years! I am honoured to be one of the Trustees of this worthy Charity in Llantwit Major and as its title suggests, “New Hope”, this is what’s it’s all about, giving hope where there is none, aiming to bring fulfilment happiness and a sense of purpose and normality to people’s lives in Nicaragua and for that reason I am wholeheartedly passionate about its operations. I trust that I will be able to bring new ideas to “New Hope "and will endeavour to commit myself the best I can to help the Charity to continue in it's worthwhile work. The verse in the Bible that best expresses how I feel about the reason why I am committed to this Charity is as follows: Isaiah chapter 61 verse 1 says this “The Sovereign Lord has filled me with His Spirit. He has chosen me and sent me to bring good news to the poor, to heal the broken-hearted, to announce release to captives and freedom to those in prison”.
